Anime Review - Tokyo Ghoul
As it has been announced the 2nd series, and wanting to inaugurate this new section in the best way, here I am to review one of the souls, in my opinion, the most successful of 2014: Tokyo Ghoul.
This manga horror-psychological kind, sees the light through the pen of the writer Sui Ishida, decided to delight us well with this series. Started in 2011, only in 2014 has resulted in an anime series of 12 episodes.
plot
See you in a projected Tokyo (weird right?) Torn apart by the brutal murders that happen at the hands of ghouls, carnivorous monsters whose only menu we poor humans. And it is in this climate so sunny that we meet
Ken Kaneki, a university student, and Rize girl at first very interested in Ken.
Apparently, Ken is a lucky guy !!! In just 10 minutes can rise from Friendzone and go out for an evening with her. But Rize is anything but tame: has the truss is, in fact, a ghoul, and one of the most voracious bargain, (just lucky huh) do not wait a second to attack. Ken, whose insides have become ground for balls, and having a large hole in the stomach three times that you find yourself a little further down, now seems on the verge of death, if not that a slap on the ass (that only in YU -GI-OH can be found) saves in corner kick and kills Rize. Relief is not slow in coming and, once arrived at the hospital, doctors are forced to trap Antar li organs of the girl-ghouls, now deceased. Ken finds himself halfway between being a ghoul and a human being, and to know a tougher world of what he believed.
Line features
Although it has been announced, as mentioned before, as a psychological horror-genre can assure the most fi font ( a worry I am not worse than you XD) that falls more in the splatter (despite the plurality of censored scenes). The animation is fluid and the plot does not disappoint, with unexpected twists and frequent; the dialogues are well managed, failing
not result in the general "less talk-gap butt Jacopo" nor in "monologs" theater that would even sleep a boy with drip coffee. The profile of the characters is well defined, succeeding in some parts to make us even "feel" their state of mind and their feelings / emotions. Great weight is also given to the relationship that has Ken with the world and its difficulties in being included in the latter: you as you feel if suddenly you rotovate halfway between being a human and a monster? You can not take sides even in one of the factions that at any go you will feel different (in humans because half ghouls and ghouls because half human). We can, therefore, say that the values upon which the work are the ideals of peace and equality for which our protagonist is able to create. In conclusion, although at first glance it may seem only a grotesque series, it contains within itself strong messages to which many (including me) should relate. I hope this review is liked (plus is the first time that I attempt in this work), of course, these are my thoughts: if someone wanted to tell her to know that I will accept criticism (as long as they are constructive) and anything else , otherwise I do not dislike or like throwing flowers, with cheers.
The review ends here, a Genesis thank you for creating this section and remember to subscribe if you want to learn more about this passion that unites us.
The next review will do it next Saturday, so as not to waste already in a few weeks all the material that the forum put at my disposal.
